The Best doughnuts in NYC | Review by The New York City Go Nuts for Doughnuts Club

Edited to add: We’ve been living in NYC almost six years now and Donut Plant still takes the win. When Doughnut Project closed we were devastated, but we were grateful we still have Donut Plant to visit in both Brooklyn and Manhattan.

Our favorite Donut Shop in NYC is Donut Plant.

We’re so new here, I honestly don't know if it’s everyone’s favorite donut shop? Is it over popular? Does the whole world know about Donut Plant but me?

I don’t know and don’t care, because these donut pillows are epic. And the donuts themselves are some of the best I’ve ever had. And I’ve had a lot of good donuts in my lifetime.

If you’ve taken a donut and filled it with some sort of cream— and really filled it, not skimped on it— I’m there to eat it.

We get three donuts and share them every time— and every time I’m SO full after just half of three.

We highly recommend the coconut cream, Manhattan Cream, and the Creme Brûlée. Or whatever they have that’s seasonal. I think we will have to go back to try a Fall flavor before they transition to winter flavors.

Do you have a favorite Donut Shop in NYC? What about the city you live in? I’d love to add it to my list of donuts to try!
