Falling For | A New Series on Weddings + Relationship Resources + Small Business Resources

I’m in the wedding industry, I’m seven years into my marriage, and I’m five years into owning and growing The Vow Collective. I’m obsessed with weddings, relationships, and small businesses.

I’m in the wedding industry, I’m seven years into my marriage, and I’m five years into owning and growing The Vow Collective. I’m obsessed with weddings, relationships, and small businesses.

Similar to my Pop-Culture and Window Shopping Series, I’ll Have What She’s Having, I want to share with you information or resources you and I both might find valuable to our lives— specifically in the realm of relationships, weddings, and business resources.

You can find these posts both here and in my Instagram stories (although some extra goodies might appear on the blog!). Feel free to send me anything you think would be fun to share!

Let’s get started with October’s Falling For…

  1. Celebrating the art in my home.

I really value what’s in our home. I made a point to hang our wedding vows so we could remember and live them out. But I also make it a point to decorate our home with inspiring art. These artists are constantly inspiring me (and happen to also be hanging out on my mantel): Anna Tovar, Shannon Kirsten, Amelia McMurrin.

  2. Small Business Batching

This week I went to a Rising Tide Tuesdays Together meeting and we discussed how to better manage our time. I shared with everyone I’m a big fan of batching. Batching is a time management tool anyone and everyone can use (just google it!). I love to batch. Batching is when you intentionally schedule similar tasks together. This week I sat down and made my weekly calendar even more specific and batch friendly. Copy Writing, social media, packaging, designing. All grouped into meaningful sections. I’ve included my own weekly schedule, Maybe it will inspire you to create one of your own or to try out batching in general?

  3. Stitch Floral Designs

LOVE these designs. I want one on a t-shirt, pillow, handkerchief, postcard, my couch, every sweater I own….

  4. Wedding Words: Disney Inspired Vows

There are so many great Disney-inspired ideas in this post! My new friend Katelyn helps wedding attenders write speeches they’re giving. She also helps couples write their vows! I really believe people need help articulating their heart well! I also believe there are a lot of couples out there who often mistake encouraging or affirming words as wedding vows. So, yay for Katelyn guiding and writing people in the direction of wedded bliss!
