NYC: A Local's Tour Guide

An upper west sider's local tour guide for best pizza, coffee, and walking adventures.

Are you planning a trip to New York City soon? Are you interested in doing both local and touristy things? Are you interested in completely experiencing the city without doing anything touristy? I’ve created a local’s tour guide with over 25+ things I believe are worth doing!

I’ve lived here for two years and YOU KNOW I’ve got ideas for you. How could I let you visit this city and not at least give you some ideas about where to go and what to do. Especially things off the tourist path. This is a list of spots I’ve curated based on where I live (the upper west side) and hidden spots I often take tourists through my Airbnb Photography Experiences. Spaces other tourists aren’t and spaces I love returning to over and over again as a local.

Are there things missing from this list? SURE. There are a million awesome things I haven’t done in this city. And that’s okay. My biggest hope is that this list will narrow down the millions of choices you’ll have to make when you are visiting. I really want you to feel like you are getting a curated local experience.

What you get with my tour guide:

  • 25+ places to eat, drink, shop, and walk.

  • If you’re interested in exploring awesome restaurants on the Upper West Side, some tucked away in cute little neighborhoods by sprawling parks, this is for you.

  • If you’re needing cute and GREAT coffee spots, I’ve got a list for you. This is well-made not burned coffee made by caring baristas.

  • Best donut spots in the city.

  • Best spots for photos!

  • Our favorite pizza spot.

  • Places that celebrate women.

  • Hidden parts of Central Park or Riverside Park.

  • Shows we think are 100% worth laying down some money for.

  • Thrift spots.

  • Perfect places to take really long walks for those of who you want to walk the whole island! Yes, you really can walk the whole island of Manhattan if you have the desire!

If you’re interested in purchasing my tour guide, it’s only $20. Please fill out the form below and I, Stacie, will contact you with an invoice. Once your invoice is paid, she will send over the Tour Guide PDF.
