I'll Have What She's Having | November
What we’re drinking on rainy days: Trader Joes Spiced Chai Tea. Best part? Even if you don’t live near a TJ’s, they’ve got it on Amazon!
What we’re listening to while we work: Harry Potter and The Cursed Child Soundtrack by Imogen Heap. Have you seen the play in two parts yet? It’s the most magical and gasp-worthy piece of theatre I’ve ever seen.
Shows we’re loving lately: Fosse Verdon, Veronica Mars, Kim’s Convenience, and Super Store
What I’m learning: Facts about Central Park because it’s vast and ridiculously full of history.
Lyrics I’m loving: “My generation's stuck in the mirror” feels like the realest description of my generation right now. These lyrics are from Mumford and Son’s newest song, The Bling Leading the Blind. Have you listened to it? This song has a lot of cultural and generational meaning, what does it mean to you?
What I’m wearing lately: It’s sweatah weathah! You can also find me in these Comfy, cozy, and sturdy boots from Target. I’ve never worn olive shoes before, but they go with almost all of my outfits— I think that’s the benefit of mainly owning a neutral wardrobe. Right style experts?
What I’m dancing to while I wash the dishes: Both of Selena Gomez’ new songs. I didn’t know I could love the Mm-mm-mm’s so much.
Freebies: For the month of November I’m participating in a Gratitude challenge. Pretty things tend to motivate me, so I doodled this Gratitude list for me and for you! It’s a FREE downloadable fill in the blank PDF. Want to practice gratitude with me?
Cyber Reading: Blogs are not dead, and writing certainly is not. I’m thrilled when I find a good writer whose still adding their work to the online universe. Especially when their writing informs and challenges me. Jesse’s essays continually encourage and challenge me.
Currently Reading (and laughing out loud through every chapter): I was told There’d Be Cake by Sloane Crosley
My Next Crafternoon: I want to make something like this with a thrifted sweatshirt. Pearls and Scallops yes please!
