An Intimate Wedding Portrait Session in Prospect Park

Meet Wawo and Gisela. Two of the kindest people you’ll meet in New York City.

The decision to have their pre-wedding portrait session in Prospect Park was A BEAUTIFUL DECISION. They live just around the corner and frequent the park often. It’s where their love story has unfolded. If you’ve never been to Prospect Park, it really is an oasis of tranquility in the midst of Brooklyn's hustle and bustle. The lush greenery, the shimmering lake, and the historic architecture all combined to create a picturesque setting that perfectly captured the essence of their love.

We took both posed and candid shots, and some of my favorite shots are of Wawo continually kissing Gisela’s shoulder. He couldn’t take his eyes off her. It was really special to observe and photograph.

Have you ever considered having a Pre-wedding celebration portrait session? They’re a great way for couples to pause, reflect, and savor the love that's brought them to the threshold of marriage. They’re a great way for couples to be intimately together before their friends and family arrive.

As a photographer, I advocate for these intimate moments to be added into your wedding day. I’ve never met a couple who regrets building 30 minutes into their timeline for “just them”.

If you're planning your wedding or honeymoon in New York City and want to capture the magic of your love story, I'm here to help. Contact me to book your portrait session. I’m here to make you feel seen and celebrated.
