If you’re new around here, I started a few of my own AirBnb Experiences recently, and had the stellar opportunity to try one out with Dillon, Andrew, and their super cute dog, Cerberus.

If you aren’t familiar with AirBnb Experiences, they’re activities or experiences you can book through Airbnb during your visit. In New York you can sign up for broadway tours, thrifting tours, dance lessons, photo shoots, and now, because of my own listing, you can eat local dessert, drink local coffee, AND have a photo session in one of the most famous parks in the world.

I loved inviting Dillon and Andrew into my neighborhood, getting to know them, buying them an assortment of some of my favorite local desserts, walking them through some of my favorite parts of North Central Park, and snapping photos of them in a very Autumn-looking Central Park. It was a joy to experience the park with them.

Also, dedicating 20-30 minutes to drink and eat together beforehand allowed me to get to know them, observe how they interact, and overall made it easier for me to adapt our walk and photo session to more accurately fit who they are as a couple. Spending time together before diving into pictures really helps everyone feel a bit more comfortable, and that’s why I love the experience I’m offering. I mean, I love it because coffee and dessert are involved, but I also love genuinely getting to know the people I photograph.

And oh my goodness, if Cerberus isn’t the cutest little dude. He overcame the long trek of the North Woods, and I just loved his leaf photos!
