Small Business Spotlight | Bloom Waco
I’m celebrating a Texas small business today I think you’ll love. Everything from their super cute handdrawn logo, to their sweet hospitality, to their beautiful flower arrangements.
Our friend Lindsay just opened up the cutest lil’ flower shop in Waco, and I just wanted to let you know if you stop through or visit Waco, you gotta pick up some flowers from Bloom Waco. You can follow them on Instagram here.
Side Note: If you missed my “How to Visit the Magnolia Silos” post, you’ll want to hit that up because it’s more fun to go to Waco when it’s not so busy and you can really take it at your own pace.
Brett and I are not super in to buying fresh flowers because we don’t like that they aren’t a long term investment… so when I looked in the corner and saw that Bloom had a whole huge vase of dried flowers, I got really excited.
I LOVE THE DRIED FLOWER TREND. And I hope dried flowers stick around for awhile, because they are beautiful and LONG LASTING.
Lindsay let us know that at their shop, you pick what you want and make your own arrangement. I love that kind of independence, but I’m not super great at flowers and still needed guidance putting my arrangement together, so she helped me put this together and I LOVE how it turned out. We also bought a clay pink vase for it made by a local maker and now it’s sitting on my desk bringing me life for basically the rest of forever.
Bloom is just down the street from Magnolia Market. They work to incorporate local flowers in their shop (which is awesome!). They’re open for casual shopping, so you can pop right in and take a look around. And, they just started booking weddings too. Go check them out and shop local!
And I want to know— have you hopped on the dried flower trend? Tell me in the comments,
Stacie
